Did you know that you can donate food to the local food pantry at anytime? You don't need to wait for a food drive to come to you anymore. You can drop food at a local pantry or even donate food online at Northern Illinois Food Pantry. At this site you can purchase food or donate money. With the economic times we are currently experiencing, food is desperately needed and your help is needed. To see a list of local pantries in the area, along with the hours of operation, just click here. We recently went to Sam's Club and purchased items to bring to the pantry and you can too!

Did you know that the Grayslake Exchange Club meets every Thursday at Whitneys? This exceptional club volunteers, supports, and has fundraisers throughout Grayslake and Lake County? Right now you can attend a meeting for free to see what it is all about. Just visit the website to register as a guest or give me a call. Not only do you have the ability to volunteer for events through out the year, you also hear from a variety of speakers about the community. I have been looking for somewhere to volunteer for some time now, and this is the perfect fit for me. I attended my first meeting last week and joined the group right away.

The next event being sponsered is Take A Step for Kids on April 7 at 9:15am. This event will help to support kids and families of abuse. Location is Independence Grove in Libertyville, IL. Visit the website for more information on how to register, support, and participate.

Hope to see you there!
